My Review:
I have been in love with this book since the 1st grade, when our teacher was reading it to us everyday. Ever since then I try to read it once a year. It is my favorite Children’s chapter book out there!
Salamanca is such a strong character. She has been through so much as a young girl and have appreciation for nature and relationships. The road trip with her grandparents is hilarious! Huza Huza! The grandparents are the best. They make you laugh throughout the whole book.
And the character Phoebe is so funny because she is dramatic beyond all belief. The whole story with the lunatic really draws readers into the story and it keeps you on your toes.
Read it! On my top 10 books of all time.
