My Review:
WARNING: This is the second book in the Impossible Series.
Since the novel Impossible is one of my favorite books, I decided that I might as well read Unthinkable. After reading this I still like Impossible ten times better. This book was good, but not great. This is a prequel/sequel. Fenella was the first girl to be cursed, but due to some other curses she is still alive and whats to die. In order to do so, she must complete three tasks of destruction, unlike the previous tasks before. If she doesn’t complete them, the old curse will be reactivated and all the girls will have to serve as the consort to Pradaig.
Fenella was a fascinating character. She kept to herself most of the time and would say very little to her family. You can tell that she is dead smart and loves to learn. When it came to engineering she picked it up quick. She also really cares about her family, however, in order to protect them she has to do some selfish things. I loved her interaction with Ryland the cat/prince. And when Walker the cute veterinarian student comes in, things get fun! Her back story made me feel very sympathetic and you discover how the curse began. this part actually made me like Impossible even more.
Overall it was an ok read. I am debating on if I should read the third one. We shall see!
