Fed up with boys and the way they have treated her and her friends, high school junior Penny Lane--named after the Beatles song--forms a club whose members vow to stop dating, causing some surprising repercussions.

My Review:

I really enjoyed this book.  It was one of those pick me ups that I was needing at this time. I loved her ties of the Beatles music that she imported into this book. It really brought this story to life. I L.O.L through this entire story. Penny and her best friends cracked me up. The Lonely Hearts Club really draws you in and you learn about the importance of friendship and how to get rid of those stupid boys in your life. It was an excellent read!

Things to Watch Out For: Language, partying, stupid jocks, intimacy, and some fighting.
